Le Labo - Another 13

Another 13 opens very clean and transparent. At first it smells almost empty, like skin after a shower, but with a subtle fruity freshness. You can clearly feel pear and green apple — watery, crisp, not sweet, more like the smell of freshly cut fruit skin rather than juice.

Very quickly, ambroxan takes over. This is the core of the fragrance. It smells smooth, mineral, slightly salty and musky, with a “magazine paper” or clean fabric effect. It doesn’t shout — it blends into your skin and becomes part of you.

In the background, there is a soft green-earthy tone from moss and dry woods. It gives the fragrance structure and prevents it from feeling flat or sterile. There is no obvious floral note — everything stays abstract and clean.

As it dries down, Another 13 becomes almost pure skin scent. Clean musk, warm ambroxan, a hint of dry wood. It smells intimate, modern, and minimal. This is not a perfume that announces itself — it’s a scent people notice only when they are close.
